Every Aindram song begins as a poem. The words are in Sanskrit and carry the language and imagery of the Vedic hymns. Several are drawn from the hymns to Indra in the Rig Veda. Others are new verses written in the same spirit, about courage, clarity, strength and gratitude, made to be sung today.
